I'm Sandrine, a French artist working between Chios and Oinousses, Greece.
My practice moves between different mediums: from intricate ink drawings of island life to cyanotypes made with plants gathered along the shore and grown in my garden. Different techniques, but the same instinct behind them, to look closely at what's here, to notice what often goes unseen, and to hold it for a moment before it changes.
Some works are built from thousands of careful lines. Others are printed with nothing but sunlight and water. Both are ways of paying attention to the overlooked and show gratitude for the world around us.
I also share my practice through workshops where adults can learn new techniques, but most of all, slow down, find space to play and reach a state of flow to reconnect with the present moment.
